Beneficiaries

Following the symbolic presentation, Red Cross volunteers carried out verification and screening to ensure aid reached the most vulnerable households. The process was supervised by senior officials, including the Senior PGI Officer from the National Headquarters, Abuja.

While addressing newsmen shortly after the commissioning of facilities, Prince Adeaga emphasized that the intervention reflects the humanitarian mandate of the Red Cross:

“Beyond the materials we distribute today, our duty is to restore hope, protect dignity, and strengthen resilience in the face of disasters.”

The Nigerian Red Cross Society extends appreciation to the IFRC, local authorities, and the resilient people of Mokwa. Together, these partnerships are helping to restore hope and rebuild lives in the aftermath of the flood disaster.
